Today the scale went down to 172.4...the pounds are dropping, the inches are dropping. For a while there wasn't any progress on the scale, but more adjustments to diet (adding a little more protein, getting rid of a few carbs, not cheating as bad on the weekend) and exercise (33% more weight training, switching to free weights, opting for the treadmill instead) helped kick everything in gear.
My new target is 163...I think going to 155, my old weight, would result in more muscle loss than I am willing to accept. That's probably 18 weeks off or more. After that, I am going to reassess the situation...see if I want to add mass again
