Thats because 90% of the people involved never even weighed in. Everyone is always "trying to lose weight" until they realize that it means they have to eat well and exercise.
I weigh 150 now btw.

Pacrappa's "Find a physical activity that you enjoy and do the shit out of it" works pretty well. I only lost about four pounds last month, but I can't wear some of my pants anymore without wrapping belts around them. My legs are starting to show some definition, too.
I drink a few beers on the weekend, but I've been sticking to no soda and partitioning healthy meals throughout the day.
What's the activity if you don't mind me asking?
Playing basketball alone, which makes for a decent cardio workout since I have to shag my own rebounds. I basically give it my all until I really get out of breath, then take free throws to cool down before running around again. The more I play, the longer I can go before having to shoot free throws. There's usually enough people at the park to get a game going once a week, so aside from losing weight, improving my shooting/ball control is enough motivation to keep me going.
I LOVE playing basketball. There's no other sport besides boxing that I'd rather participate in. But alone? Man, that shit is never fun by myself.
I don't mind. It's a nice contrast to my loud-as-fuck office. Plus, it allows me to go at my own pace.
It's more fun than jogging, anyway.
Sounds cool to me. Your body and mind are working together and that's what matters.
Street hockey for me in the summer time. I play in net with full ice gear so it's relatively easy to shed off 10 pounds of water weight in a day. Not that that's what I'm going for (and it's a BITCH to stay hydrated) but I get more than enough cardio between practices and games.
Down to 163.
Changing your life is hard.
Talking about it is easy.
