Is there a list of the killings and a time line of when they happened? I ask because we had a similar death while I was at ND in 01 or 02. Kid disappeared (i think it was also a Halloween party) and his body was found later in the St. Joseph River. They said he was drunk and fell in.

Saw some of these incidents when they were local reports, and maybe a month or so ago when NBC had something on a theory. Weird that the connection is being taken seriously now.

Yeah, but thats how they all start. Come man 40 random drowing deaths of college age men? Sounds a bit fishy my friend and totally worth at least a multi-state investigation.

I'm skeptical, a smiley face is hardly a rare symbol, unless it's stylised in a very specific way; and people get drunk and drown all the time. OR MAYBE THATS WHAT THE KILLER WANTS ME TO THINK!
