I tried to pay $350 for a music festival ticket but it sold out too fast.

I like pop punk. Offspring do it well - not that Pretty Fly for a White Guy bullshit.

This shit is high school. I'm old and cranky now, there are better ways to view live music that don't smell as bad.

The Offspring haven't done anything interesting since Smash, but you've got to give them credit: they're excellent on ripping off successful formulas and selling records.

Also, they are (or maybe were) the most successful independent band of all time.

Not interested. Those ticket prices are lol-tastic too, damn. Didn't The Police play this last year? I still wouldn't pay that much but at least it would be worth it a bit more. The bill isn't all that bad though, I wouldn't mind seeing the Foo's, The Stooges, Shudder to Think, TBS, and STP.

But yeah. Fuck that.

Those ticket prices haven't been justified since the first year of Virgin when it was only one day and $100.

And they fucked the first year up anyway by having the Chili Peppers and the Flaming Lips play AT THE SAME TIME. (and the Who not headlining)

I bought two tickets for this last year for resale and was lucky as hell to even get my money back.

Easy choice imo, considering how much cock RHCP sucks these days. They are so, so bad.

How could you justify skipping the flaming lips.

Also: Dylan and the stooges if I would actually go. But yeah, thats alot of money.

I agree, Flaming Lips over RHCP (though I think the RHCP are great) but I'd be pissed for having to choose.
