I simply wouldn't want to see that much music in one day. It's like, the Lord of the Rings movies are great in their own right. But I really don't want to see all three in a row in one afternoon in an unshaded field. I guess I'm not PUNK RAWK enough.
Music festivals are pretty fun, but I've never been to one the size or as expensive as the Virgin fest. I'd love to see Chuck Berry and The Stooges and a few of the other bands playing, but not for $400+. I hope they don't make Chuck Berry play at like 3 pm in the sun, he's old, he could die.
it's 175 for 2 days, if you want the vip then it's over 400.
it's still really steep as far as what i normally pay to go see people... there are plenty in there that i want to see (and am not sure i'll get a second chance to do so)
