Actually I said that the SS hood was easier to upgrade then the pants. Nothing more.

It's like Halo ranks.
No, it would be like if the prettiest armor perms gave you a stronger battle rifle. Which is actually a really fantastic idea!
Arena's are set up like Halo Ranks to an extent, you fight higer ranked people, you get more points to spend on better gear.
Points can be bought though,
Yeah I know, I'm just being a dick. It's made a lot easier by my friend telling me that she plays WoW because she likes dressing her character up.
Fuck her.
Three of our top raiders are girls and they like the look of T6 armor which in part drives them to excel. :)
We got rid of all of the girls in our guild.
Omfg, the only other person in Copperfields guild is Kateness. Thats incredible
LOL
Because girls can't run away from volcanoes or giant axe-wielding mother-fuckers who are trying to kill them.
We don't raid enough to get the loot whorish cunts, they all leave once they realize it's not happening the way they want.
I have been trying out EVE and I hate myself. EVE is pretty fucking amazing though. Incredibly complex. The skillup system guarantees that you'll be playing forever though.
Dave kicked me out of RF. :(
Wow. I want to say something, but I don't even know what to say. I'm glad I don't post here more. Hi RF
Play more 3s
Cow was just mean to John.
I think I hate him now.
God I love John. HI JOHN.
I wish John would post here more :(
I love you john, lets make out with hadokens.
Actually I kicked Gozen out for inactivity =]
Also, re: the girl thing
Holy shit I don't want to sound sexist, but girls start 90% of all drama in Warcraft
the last 10% is chux 2spicy
The caster helm comment was dumb, by far the easiest and better option to upgrade from spellstrike is the Hood of Hexing that drops off an easy 10 man boss that resets every three days. People's ALTS have this shit.
So it's either that or convincing 24 people to go backwards in content to do pain in the ass Vashj (which no good guild ever farmed, ever) or Void Reaver for helms that aren't considered to be as good.
Pants suck until Kaz'rogal, you're right. I would personally opt for ever so slightly less DPS and way better stats instead of the garbage you get from spellstrike, but I guess that's just me. Yeah T4 is garbage but the T5 lock pants are damn nice. After that, Kaz'rogal is a pathetic boss, everyone will have his pants soon enough and those are the best you're getting until Sunwell.
Mzo is a lock expert? ;)
It's like everyone is supporting the thread title, or just being terribly ironic.
I only play WoW to hear Mzo's sweet angelic voice.
I miss the dulcet tones of his melodious voice.
59 and my Swift is just a level away.
I'm so fucking 2004.
Forget 2004, I'm fucking going for a green set in Diablo II. What year am I?
2000ish.
60.
I wanted a Warstrider so I started fucking around with Battlegrounds and I FUCKING LOVE it. It's like Big Team Battle and somehow, even being a priest, I still knocked out the most damage and honorable kills for pretty much every round I played tonight.
BG's are rad, listening to RF last night made me kind of miss that.
All are welcome.
If TrialSword can make it so can you. <3 Kaku
Opaque needs to play on the good server.
Also, lol @ people earlier in this thread advocating PVE. Why you think it's a good thing that Horde can roll up an Alliance capital and dance and taunt people without having to worry about being able to get hit is just retarded. Why even play a game that has two sides at that point?
PvP is where it is at. Too bad you people are the filthy alliance with their gnomes and elves.
Gnomes are the best thing ever. However, I'd like to hear you explain how the Horde doesn't have elves.
Regardless, back of the boat with them.
World pvp is where its at. On my server, thanks to a friend and I, Hillsbrad is a BG.
WE MUST DEFEND STONEHEARTH AT ALL COSTS, WELCOME TO THE CHAMPIONS HALL, FAGGOT!
I'll gladly trade dwarves for the blood elves.
Picked up the Merciless Glad's Warstaff last night. Working on pants now.
Hellfire Peninsular is by far the raddest zone for world PvP.
I recently got exalted with Scryers, and as such can now make Runic Spellthread. That shit is free money, for real. Mats cost 250g on my server AH, and the thread sells for 360. I've made about 2.5k in the last week.
Blood elves are the gayest shit ever.
Well we're covering bases here, night elves, blood elves, death/black elves are next in the l33t word progression
What server does TNL play on?
Shattered Hand
What's a TNL? :icepick: :D
For those complaining about levelling characters, protip:
They nerfed the shit out of 20-60. Takes half as long as it used to.
P.S. We need these smilies on the RF boards. Get on it, chux.
I heard if you know what you're doing you can get powerleveled to a low 60's in one day.
I hated the 30s. I like this idea.
Brutallus down!
...it's too easy.
WotLK PvP
I've had a fucking horrid day so I'm gonna end it appropriately, with warcraft. SH if yall contact me I'll transfer my best alliance. Someone aim me about it?
I'm a 69 now.
One more fucking level and the real shit starts.
Blood Elf Warlock (name: "Valmik") on Shattered Hand.
I'm a super casual player...any room for those in Rampant Fronting?
ALLIANCE YOU NOOB.
Well. Shit.
Guess I can transfer over my ally Warlock.
hit 64. been running hellfire. so much fun.
so yeah I started doing this again ugh
The talent trees have been leaked. Dagger rogues are gonna be utter rapage in PVP.
hit 70, getting my gear for pvp. I need rep for the beginer pvp gear but I'm starting to gain honor. I really need an arena team to get points.
Felmyst down like 2 weeks ago, so strong.
My shattered hand hunter has like 200 points of reslience I think.
I got sick of the 70 grind though, went back to my mage who is know level 56. :O
I see lots of rampant fronting people riding around with bear mounts too.
lol, I have like, 260 resilience, or 300 if i equip a shittier helm.
http://wotlkwiki.info/index.php/Rogue
lol @ Shadowdance - Instantly enter stealth and begin the Shadow Dance. For 9 sec you will reenter stealth every 3 secs.
Not funny.
the very last panel is ok
bice noobies
Sluggy Freelance was never funny.
Hit 70 a little bit back.
Full Frozen Shadow weave and an epic flyer in the first two weeks, we'll see where it goes from here.
Human Warlock on Shattered Hand: "Meach"
I'm low lvl if anyone wants to team up on beginner quests add me to your friends.
Lol, rolled a hunter, talk about fucking easymode. Also, I got banned for 3 hours because this guy was threatening to report my friend for making fun of him, so I whispered him "FUCK OFF FAGGOT".
lol.
I froze my account because I don't have enough time to get my money's worth at the moment. It's playable till Aug 27th if you wanna log my druid for instance runs, arjue.
My server is freaking a shit right now so I made a rogue on Shattered Hand. Then I sent out a message on the trade channel looking for people in RF.
Msleading. In your guild. Word.
Okay after much soul searching I've discovered what I dislike about rogues. They're not warriors. I miss the face smashing mechanics of my old orc. So I'm droping my warlock alt and rolled a NE warrior.
Tired of gnomes anyway.
I don't even know who you are anymore.
I started a new character with my girlfriend the other day using the refer-a-friend program, and after basking in the glow of constant triple XP I don't know if I'll be able to regularly level characters after this. It's... amazing.
I've wanted to roll a warlock for a little while now, but I got caught up in trying to gear my hunter and at this point I'll probably just wait until the Death Knight. It'll be a nice, fresh change of pace, pretty much THE reason I'll enjoy WotlK so much.
Talk about huge crits on oneself, even if it is FFXI:
http://videogames.yahoo.com/feature/...defeat/1238418
The FFXI developers hate the players. Clearly, they needed to retool AV 2 years ago, but chose not to. This new one is just more of the same.
I don't think they really need to retool it (even though they are, and Warden as well), I'm actually glad an MMO doesn't nerf everything at the slightest hint of players having trouble. Is it really so bad that they make the tricks to beating the most powerful creatures in the game obscure, especially compared to WoW where players have gods on farm status? So they are getting nerfed, and everyone who loled about the 18 hours shtick can also lol at the group that spent those 18 hours incorrectly fighting it. I do agree that they should've had better methods in place for limiting the time spent fighting an NM (rage timers like in WoW work just fine), which would've prevented this whole nonsense from ever occurring.Quote:

Haha, they just forgot to put a rage timer on a boss? ...
I feel so bad for people getting into this game now, who didn't get to see it between Orignal Build and BC expansion.
I'm sure this still fun shit to do though.
No. The devs supposedly took 15 hours and they're the one who made the fucking encounter. 2 years go by and no one can figure out the right way to down a boss? Then it's time to give the userbase a hint on how-to because you made the right way too obscure.
They may have been doing PW wrong, but this is different from a WoW nerf. Most WoW nerfs comes to make a fight doable by a wider percentage of the userbase after it has been downed by the elite guilds. Here, no one even the best can drop the boss. As you said, an enrage timer or even a one shotting attack to say 'You can't kill this' would be a courtesy to the userbase. Even Doomwalker from WoW, with its 8k 100m earthquake, had that and in the end he is very doable with a competent guild as a way to do him became clear.
My Locks at 69 with 40% left till 70.
Gonna grind BGs to get some gear. Than work on Frozen Shadowweave.
BG' are so fun.
Woolf and Solanas. I quit the guild. Pretty much was told: we're not taking you on raids because you're not t4/5. We're not doing t4 and we're not taking you on t5. So the only paths left were heroic epics which wouldn't gear me up for t5 anyway, and i'm already kara ready by all guides i've read, PVP which takes forever and still isn't as good as t4/5 (unless i get brutal but that's two levels of grind there, no one wants an undergeared pvp rogue in arena) and badge gear, which takes forever to get the 460 badges I'd need without raiding. I might rejoin once I'm in t4 gear.
Anyone who's considering joining SH/rampant fronting should take note that unless you're already doing bear runs/the eye, or S3/4 arena (geared as such) you won't be doing anything with the guild on a regular basis.
Gah I wish i knew about that triple experience thing earlier. I would had my g/f roll now instead of back in november.
Mars, I think you're just kind of unlucky; you came in as Mzo was kind of leaving; and that cut down the activity of the guild by quite a lot. But coming from someone who left just before they started really tearing through late t4 and t5; you could "catch up" by working hard in heroics for badge loot and doing lots of PUGs; most PUGs will take Heroic-ly geared people and work pretty well. Your class choice doesn't help.
It's very hard to slot new people into a functioning (or barely functioning guild).
I barely play nowadays because of my internet connection, but add "Eadgils", "Haruspex" and "Froya" to your friends list, I'll happily help you out with stuff (I generally have fuck all to do when I log on anyway).
Mechdeus went from the from horribly undergeared to tier 6 content off-tank in a matter of something like two to three months and now receives raid invites on the regular.
You just can't expect to get a raid spot, especially a tier 6 raid or a bear-run, right after hitting 70.
Well thats the problem more or less. We've stopped doing kara/gruuls the last few weeks since the healer is out and no one else wants to bother since everyone else's mains would only gain shards and badges, not upgrades. Right now I'm sporting heroic epics in half my slots, looking to buy a few epic pve rogue items (vengence wrap, and chest) and I'm halfway to the 100 badge leggings. The fundamental problem is that'll put me STILL in the ready for kara/gruul's group and not in the t5 running group. There's a big gap there. To t5 ready just pugging shitty groups that fail half the time I'd need a full QD badge armor set, which ain't happening without me killing myself due to retards.
So I joined a guild that has both kara and gruuls on the schedule and runs heroics daily (without wiping/disbanding random) to speed things the fuck up.
Pretty much what happened to me. I think we did one Gruul run and one SSC run with me, otherwise I just run Kara whenever possible. I still have yet to get a single piece of tank loot from anything past Kara.I earned two pieces of PVP gear from BGs in one weekend and most of those pieces are big upgrades for you, plus it looks like you finally got an arena team for some extra points so that's another bonus piece of gear for you. Use one of those two ways to grab some legs and the other the chest, that will help a ton. Then fill in the rest as needed. I end up DPSing in the many fights no OT is needed and aside from my weapons, gloves, and ranged weapon I've had to get most all my Fury/MS gear outside of RF raiding.Quote:

You're one batch of dailies away from getting a new SSO neck (and you're Scyers which is so much cheaper to power to exalted), enchant your weapons (if you need some mats ask, I probably have some extras to give you), the Shard which is arguably the best rogue trinket in the game is from heroics, etc. There's still a lot you can do pre-raiding and a bunch of us are willing to help either for the heck of it or for alts. Trialsword and I still need the Shard as well so there's two people that will be running H MgT when they can.Well that works too. Badges are great when you can get them (still 10 away from my legs).Quote:

Well none of that is a mistake I've been driving pretty hard to get geared. My swords are okay (blinkstrike is ~s1 sword level), my offhand is from the sole time I was allowed on a failed ZA run, the SSO necklace is the best dps outside of sunwell/BT and everything else is coming along. Leggings are the best non-raid leggings I can get till badge gear, which describes pretty much everything I have atm.
