Radar detectors usually only let you know that yes the cops indeed know that you were going to fast and have already registered your speed.
It's physically impossible to "intercept" a laser before you break it's path.

I second the HORI protectors. I have it on my PSP. Clarivue on my DS. If you get dust or any particles under the screen here is my suggestion on getting rid of them without having to relift the protector.
Get a piece of scotch tape, place it on the closest corner to the particle. Get a second piece of scotch tape. Have the sticky side face up (you). Lift up the corner enough to reach the particle with that second tape. The particles will cling onto the protector since it has a cling/static bottom.
Repeat until all particles are removed. I do this for my handhelds, cameras and cellphones. Any screen protector I buy is always the static type. None of that sticky residue crap. Another brand to look into for your cellphones, handhelds, cameras is Clarivue. They always come with two. So it saves you money when you have another item that needs a screen protector. Spent $10 and put one on my DS and one on my ex's. Did the same for my cellphone and my gfs.

I can't wait to replace my godawful creative 4.1's, which i have jury rigged with two speakers to my PC and two to my 360, since I use my monitor for both. But both the speaker jacks are busted to hell so every time I bump the wire I have to crawl under my desk and mess with it until both speakers kick back in.
But these new ones have an aux input, so they should be the perfect solution to all of my problems. Plus they'll sound awesome.
