I'm done with Team Deathmatch in this game. It pisses me off so badly. The combination of the terrible spawns and maps that seems to bottleneck in primarily the same locations where people camp, I just can't fucking stand it. Especially when there are 5 people in the immediate area that everyone tends to fight near and they spawn you right in the middle of it. It's god damn infuriating.

Yeah, that was a good time for the short while I played with you guys. I think that was the first time I did consistently well in more than a few games in a row.

Getting better with the shotgun.
Even though their range is totally gimped in this game, you can still do decent if you limit your battles to (extremely) close quarters.
Seems like the best setup is:
-- double barrel (no sawed off, 'cause the range is super-shit, and the regular db kills in one hit anyway)
-- juggernaut (if it's search and destroy) / camoflauge (if it's any mode with a lot of radars)
-- extreme conditioning (extra sprint helps big time for setting up ambushes and closing in on the enemy).
You should never use Juggernaut for any reason, ever.
I switched it out for slight of hand anyway just because the faster reload is a necessity in Search and Destroy.
Also, Kar98 with the sniper scope sucks.
I just role with the iron sights and do a lot better because you don't have to bring up the sights, hold your breath, blah blah blah, tick tick tick.
Time is money, and if you can aim worth a damn, you don't need the sights -- you need the seconds you waste with all the fancy scope shit.
Right now I use the shotgun whenever possible and the Kar when the shotgun isn't feasible due to the map style.
Nothing beats shooting people's limbs/torsos/lower bodies completely off with the shotty, though.
Stopping Power is much better than Juggernaut. Haven't even considered Juggernaut since I was a noob in COD4.Quote:

I'm still a little burnt out after COD2 on Vet, but this game seems even harder than that one on that difficulty level. Talk about grenade happy. Holy shit.
I played the first level of the campaign and stopped playing about two-thirds of the way through because of all the grenade spam.
Maybe it's more manageable with four human players doing it, but I don't see it being much fun with one or two people because it's such a spam fest of grenades.
I was in the back of a group of about 7-8 ppl on the the third level and somehow died in two shots while nobody else was it. This is what pisses me off. It's like you are wearing an orange vest with a huge target on it and everyone else is invisible.

Played zombie mode the other night, it was pretty fun but there are some things that could be different (betties, consistancy of zombies).
I thought the shotgun was my favorite weapon, but then I got the bayonet.
The extra range it gives you on melees is sick, and coupled with the extreme conditioning perk, I am able to just run around some maps stabbing bitches left and right.
Kar98 + bayonet
X2 frag grenade
stopping power
extreme conditioning
=
win.
Once I unlock the most powerful bolt action rifle (starts with a P--I forget the name), maybe I can drop stopping power for camouflage and then I'll be even more deadly.
