I was thinking of getting this from NCS. However, I've noticed a few of you saying the thing (or maybe it was some other 4in1 device, I want to make sure before I purchase it though) isn't very good for saving, or just out-right stopped working after a few months. What should I do? I have Xmen vs SF and Vampire Saviour (which I haven't played in...years), and I also really want to get Nights and Guardian Heroes. Thanks.
I have that Action Replay and I have no problems with it. I borrowed Vampire Savior to test out the RAM and it worked fine.
i've got one, and it has worked fine so far... the import playing works fine... the ram works fine with Dungeons and Dragons... and the cheats work... and the saves work...
mine has been working good
i think it was the 4 in 1 that people had probs with and then there was the 4 in 1 + which fixed alot of things
I should get my Sat out. Damn the Sat pad was GREAT for Marvel vs Street Fighter. Maybe I'll play some overrated Radiant Silvergun too.
I've had no problems with mine.
I never use it for saving, just keep my current games in the internal memory and your good to go.
Mine also works fine, but I have yet to save or use the RAM on it. Since I only got it a couple of days ago, but it plays imports just fine.
On a sidenote: I've had my Saturn since 95 or 96 and never used the internal saving until last year because I overlooked that I had to pull out the piece of cloth that was under the battery.

Haha! No more setting english everytime I play. I had no idea the Saturn had internal memory! Before you think me slow, I got a Saturn in its last days, and only for a handful of imports which I stopped playing years ago.

I could'nt believe that you had'nt wondered, why you had to set the clock every time?
On to the subject. I have the 4-1 plus. It has an RS-232 port on the side, which you can use to download cheats from the internet, via your PC. Never used the port, but I'm wondering if anyone has used this unique addition? This cart works great, with my Japanese Vampire Savior.
