ahahaha, i love you.
also, megaman 2 was great but it was way too unbalanced. no one ever seems to remember playing through most of the game with the metal blades. it was kinda silly. 3 was balanced as far as difficulty and boss weakness, but it was too long with the inclusion of the bosses from mm2 reapearing. i really think 4 was the peak of nes mm games with balanced bosses, cool stages and bosses and the introduction of the charge shot. i liked mm5 a lot, too and i don't think 6 is as bad as people keep saying it is. most people never even bothered playing it 'cause it came way late in the nes lifespan.
oh, and nemo, are you getting starforce 2? we can battle over wi-fi!
Mega Man Battle Network 2 was pretty rad. I couldn't really get into the rest of the series, what with the usual Capcom overkill. But yeah.
I actually really liked Megaman Network Transmission on the Gamecube. Its definitely a better game than the later Mega Man X games and it even had I nice homage to the Quickman stage in Mega Man 2. Did anybody else enjoy this game?
haha...so I suppose Network Transmission is generally regarded as crap then?
I thought it struck a good balance between the older NES Mega Man games, and the open ended environments that would be fleshed out more in the ZX series. There are definitely a lot worse Mega Man games out there :)
I thought it struck a good balance between shit and poop.
