Stan Winston Dead

Stan Winston, the special effects master without whom movies like Aliens, the Jurrasic Park series, the Terminator series, the Predator series, Edward Scissorhands, Constantine, Iron Man, and countless others just wouldn't have been the same. According to Aint it Cool News, died last night, possibly related in some way to cancer.

Best creature maker ever. He'll no doubt be put to work immediately working on beasties for the apocolypse.

That's shameful. Winston's played a huge part on high-profile movies for decades, his death should be getting much more attention than most.
