I do both. I've even played Console games ont he go and often play handhels sitting at home.
Lunch Breaks currently equate to "One Map of Final Fantasy Tactics" on the PSP. Home I'm most likely in "God I love Oblivion" mode, but I've got a wide variety of other games I need to play.
I've always loved both, since I was a wee lad with an NES and an original Brick Gameboy.

I prefer hand-helds, but I think it's more about the type of style of game I want to enjoy more than anything else.
Most games on the 360 are so deep that they are intimidating to me. When I do play something it's usually on the Wii or the DS these days, with more "gamer-games" like Pac-Man CE or ... umm... .... Pac-Man CE getting my play time on the 360 occasionally.
At home and it's not close. I don't even play handhelds on the go.
I really prefer handhelds. Most of my gaming recently have been handheld. Now that I can put my psone games on my psp I'll get alot of those finished.
I spend most of my gaming time on the pc, but one of these days I'll have to buy some portable device that happens to be capable of emulating CPS2 and NeoGeo games. Then I'll start playing games on the bus or subway or whatever.
