I try not to watch too much TV- I have too many other hobbies to waste my time with that, althought an occasional program will catch my interest. I mostly use my TV for watching DVDs and playing videogames.
My basic cable dropped HBO last year, but Oz has been over for a few years so I don't give a shit…that is, unless the Preacher HBO series ever gets made.
Tversity is good times, I would say 90% of my TV viewing is movies or TV on DVD.Quote:

Only reason I still have cable is because my father pays for it. Otherwise I could do without it, as I only use it for gaming, dvds, or just background noise when I'm on the computer.

I only have DirecTV for the Dodgers games. I never watch anything else on my TV except for the new Blu Rays/HD DVDs and TV show box sets that I buy every week. When baseball season is over, DirectTV can go to hell for all I care.
I really wish you could pick channels too. I'd get a handful of learning channels, history channel, comedy central, toonami, and GAS. Oh, and the cooking channel.
Cable for now...but looking at killing it and getting an HD antenna. I rarely watch it...so Comcast is making some easy money off of me.
You don't need an "HD" antenna, a regular one will work just fine.

I watch random crap like the discovery channel or conan o'brien on tv, and follow my more involved shows (and ones that don't fucking air in canada yet BURN NOTICE seriously global jesus christ you pick up in plain sight but leave this one alone) through the internets
