Is the Netflix thing just for streaming movies? The ability to watch together with a party of friends cartainly implies that. Nonetheless, the prospect of Group TNL B-Movie Viewings is pretty exciting.

Yeah its only for Netflix instant queue. Which is cool, but I wish the instant watch feature of Netflix had more brand new releases. They're selection ain't bad, but it doesn't include newly released DVDs. But that's a studio gripe, doesn't have anything to do with netflix/microsoft. Something about broadcast rights...

That was a pretty good press conference for Microsoft. Nothing really amazing, but they pretty much just confirmed that the 360 is THE console to own this gen.

The primetime shit should be cool. And the coop Fable 2 looks fun.

It'll be like using the 360 as a Roku player. It'll only be older movies and television shows for now. But yeah, you need a Netflix sub (8.99 is the cheapest one) and you'll still be able to get new dvd releases in the mail.

TNL MST3K anyone?

I dunno, but the new dash looks like ass.

+ Gears 2 was a big highlight. Sideways elevator, baby!
+ Resident Evil 5 co-op confirmed was great.
+ Exporting most RB1 songs to RB2 for under $5. Awesome.
+ 4-player Geometry Wars Co-Op. Fantastic.
+ Banjo 1 on XBLA
+ Galaga CE, I mean Legions

- Microsoft Wiis, I mean avatars
- You in the Movies (or whatever the hell it's called)
- The Lips performance.
- No Bungie new game announcement (it will be revealed at 4:30 PM EST)

Not a great press conference, but the FF13 shocker did melt some of the internet.
