They did that with Brawl, wasn't talked about at the conference at all and then had this huge thing on the show floor. Who fucking knows though, I'd love to see Kid Icarus, or Punch Out or something in that vein show up on the show floor but I'm not expecting it. In the end everyone is getting their perceived value of entertainment out of all sorts of product. Whether it's well-thought out, original, improvements on time-tested ideas, or shovelware, there's something out there to fit everyone's needs.
That's great, but Madden WAS awesome and FPSes are much more interesting to someone that plays games than this drivel is. I understand your point, but if it weren't for Nintendo fans legitimizing everything they did, they'd pretty much not be covered by any respectable gaming outlet anymore. And that is the goal.
So Nintendo leads Microsoft for biggest flop of the year so far. Hopefully Sony keeps E3 from being a complete failure.

So the more I see of of Resident evil 5 the less i'm looking forward to it. Now don't get me great it looks like easily one of the best action games ever. But now it doesn't even have a semblence of the survival horror aspects that endeared the franchise to me. As soon as I saw the girl mow down 4 zombies with an m-16 I knew the series I loved was officially dead. There are dozens of great action games, and no good survival horror games now. My only hope left is Dead Space, which looks awesome and a worthy succesor to Resident Evil.
And wow did Fallout 3 disappoint, it always looked shakey to me. But when I saw it up and running all my interest left me. When the developer sniped the guys head and in the process blew off all of his limbs I just stopped watching.
