I researched the method which chains are colored, I assume anodized, but could not find the specifications on the KMC site. Of course they're not painted.Quote:

Weather blows here. Lucky if it hits 40 and even if it was warmer the trails are a mess this time of year. Fuck road riding. LOL
I rode about six miles today.. first time riding in more then a year.. and i'm fucking sore.. took my bike to get it looked everything was fine.. no flat.. and my bike is fucking awesome of love my trek. i need to get back into this...
I did 10ish Miles yesterday, as I got out at 5, it was 62 Degrees and I had my bike in my rear hatch.
Vernon CT to Bolton CT. Awesome ride. Mostly uphill going east, so slightly down the way back, which is nice.

also i kind of enjoy my bike being accidentally a 1-speed. I set the gear hub lever thing up so it's pushing the pin in so i'm always in 3rd gear. It's tough, but you really think differently when you can't shift around.

I just noticed today that the Trek I always park next to on the bike rack at school is a 7.something FX with disc brakes. It's all decked out as a commuter bike. I want to have a conversation with its owner someday.
It was windy as hell today (40mph gusts!) and the ride to and from campus was pretty rough. Nice when I had tailwind though, no real need to pedal.
It is but the trails are not open since they are still mushy and nasty from the snow melt. And yay, more snow coming sunday. DAMNIT!Quote:
