Lips Official Thread

I downloaded a bunch of E3 trailers from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and I noticed a line of fine print at the end of the Lips E3 trailer. It said that you can use DRM-free music from most of the popular music players (so it's possible that the iPod will be supported), but it will only work if the lyrics are included in the song's ID3 tag.

The mics look kind of cool, but with Rock Band, I feel that Singstar, I mean Lips is a little superfluous.

Well, that excludes nearly all of my songs. My excitement is over.

I'm all for singing games after Rock Band had its way with me.

And I'm all for not being limited to Rock Band's songs.

'cuz looking up the lyrics, opening the tag, and copy-pasting is soooooooooooo hard :p

Yeah, being able to sing along to songs you already own is pretty genius, I must admit.

I was really looking forward to whatever iNiS was doing for the 360, but I'm not a fan of karaoke games. It's definitely a letdown for me.
