Also, for your viewing pleasure, a video from NatGeo showing the Japanese Giant Wasp. It completely owns a Praying Mantis. It didn't even stand a chance.

Thanks for the vid man. We used to see those things at her place every summer. Scary motherfuckers to look at but they're not interested in people at all. At least from my experiences. Another epic wasp is the tarantulahawk.

Not the best bug picture, but I just got my macro lens and this was the only thing I could find. Bet you asses I'm gonna be on the lookout for any little critter that could make a good macro.
