What kind of camera do you use ElCapitan?
Canon Rebel Xti. For an entry level DSLR, it shoots a nice picture.
Yeah, I want to get a budget DSLR for personal use, but when I shoot weddings with my sister for her company, we use Canon 30D's, with really nice lenses, and Speedlite flashes.
I'm poor, but don't want to be disappointed with the reduced quality in the lesser bodies.
I've been pleasantly surprised by my Rebel Xti. I wasn't expecting it to turn out pictures that would compare to the $1000+ cameras, but it is a lot better than I thought it would be. Eve the kit lens, which I want to replace, did a pretty good job, though I have gotten some pretty nice lenses since I got it.
yeah, I only asked because the quality of the pictures that you posted were very nice. Although upgraded lenses make all the difference. When my sister bought her 30d's a year ago, they were $1300 each for just the body, without a kit lens.
That's too rich for my blood. They are spectacular though. I should post some of the shot I've gotten with it in the Photography thread. I just need to get the high resolution files, and not the shitty watermarked stuff from PhotoReflect.
And to stay on topic.

Mud Dauber. They look extremely similar to wasps, except that they have the long black bridge from their body to their butt. Also, they don't sting...they just collect mud to build their mud dauber nests. There were insane amounts of these on the farm that I grew up on.
we call them dirt daubers in the south. I can't remember if they bite. They are actually pretty cool in that they feed dead spiders to their babies.
That's what I've been told.
Growing up, I was stung by wasps constantly, but the mud daubers were really passive. They may have the ability to sting (idk, wikipedia?), but they definitely don't get aggressive like the wasps would.
EDIT:Well I'll be damned, they're actually wasps. So I guess they have the ability to sting.Quote:

Confirmed.Quote:
Mud daubers are rarely aggressive.
