See, I said katydid at first (in the life is good thread) but then I changed it to grasshopper. He's got pretty much a regular grasshopper build just with pretty green instead of ugly brown. Every katydid I've seen previous to this one has looked alot like this one from the side of my mom's house

I am good with a lot of bugs, even spiders.

I used to have a problem with roaches. Living with surfers in Texas helped out a little bit, and living in Baltimore totally cured it.

That's a hell of a roach. I don't mind them as much as pests you see a lot in daytime hours, but my old roommate used to freak out every time he saw one. Thankfully my last two places have been relatively pest-free. They look gross but they strike me as relatively harmless compared to a lot of problems you could have.
