That's a huge fucking spider!!! Spiders don't bother me, but huge bugs do for some reason. Our house used to be set back into the woods and I lived in the basement, so I used to see wolf spiders crawling around on the regular. Those fuckers would get to be huge, upwards of 4+ inches across.

Millipedes are super cute! Also, I used to have a truce with the spiders in my old apartment, as they'd catch annoying bugs I hated. However, they started eating my back while I was sleeping and I was forced to intervene. :(

I wish I had pictures of the pet praying mantis I had in high school. He used to love to hang out. Would walk around on the coffee table and check shit out, then hop back into the cage by himself. I guess a life of free crickets was too good too give up.

I'm fine with anything cept Japanese Beetles, they're devouring my lawn. Beetles are generally pretty cool, come in some amazing colors.

Roaches I'm fine with when they're outside. Inside, they're dead if I see them. The only insects that really disgust me are maggots. I don't mind flies so much if they're just flying solo; especially the fat blue flies. They're pretty cool when you look at them all up close.

This lady at work brought in a caterpillar that looked kinda like this the other day.

Her's was more green though and she was calling it something like "pea caterpillar" or some other local farmer name cause they eat up crops like crazy. Also her's had lots of white eggs all over it, which she said were some other insects eggs and when they hatch the babies devour the caterpillar. I dunno if it was a wives tale or not.

The first time I ever saw a dobsonfly it was a fucking enormous one. The size of the thing freaked me out so much that I spent a great deal of time trying to figure out what it was online that night. Oh! I have another as-of-yet unidentified bug I saw at my folks' house in PA. I will try to find the pictures, maybe somebody knows.

That dobsonfly is out of control! I've never seen one, I think I'd freak.

Thanks Type Ryan. I've only ever seen two. The one in the pic is from my grandpa's house in Michigan and the other I saw was walking across the mat at the jiu jitsu school just a couple months ago.

ANd thank you too Grave. I have seen those little guys but never knew what the fuck they were. I was always blown away whenever I'd spot one. Funky little critters.

I just looked at the picture of the pseudoscorpion again, and saw the dime. Damn that thing is tiny.

The first time I saw one I had been walking through the sage brushy type desert on acid all day . We were just starting to get back to town and I noticed one on the ground. It was so trippy to look at and I was so hepped up on acid I thought that I must've hallucinated it. I've still only seen maybe three in the 15 or so years since I saw the first one.

The other day I was talking to a customer at work. Her daughter whispered to me telling me to look in a cup she had, and in it was an awesome ant-like insect. It was much, much bigger than ants around here, and it was a bright red color, although a matte finish instead of the typical shiny shell.

I had one of these in my house one time. It was about 2 inches long, very loud, and very scary.
