Green Bay

So Oct. 19, the Colts are playing the Packers. A good friend of mine is a huge cheesehead and I'm a Colts fan, so we're thinking of making the trip up oct 17-19/20.

I know absolutely nothing about the city. I don't know how far the airport is. I don't know where the stadium is in relation to the airport/city. I don't know what there is to do in GB.

Anyone have any tips as to where to stay close to the nightlife/stadium on a budget, and places that are musts to eat and go to while I'm town? Anyone live in the area?

No, seriously that bar packs bitches after the game. That's all I remember I was 21 when we went. Also, it's bitter cold and everybody is just a bit too friendly. Kinda like Texas.

I'm looking forward to the cold. I wish it was later in the season. I mean, that's what makes GB.

Yes by the stadium, and no you don't. New York gets cold, Cleveland freezes, Green Bay gets so cold that you can't drink enough beer to get drunk. Then when you go to the bar and it's warm, you get really drunk in like 2.5 seconds when you thaw out.

The avg October temperature is 48F. I'll live.

I don't think alcohol works like that exactly. :lol:

Lucky bitch. We went around thanksgiving and it was something ball numbing like -13 degrees without windchill.
