Reminds me of a time on IRC when somebody was complaining that they couldn't get WC3 working. Knowing how difficult it is to get Wing Commander 3 running on modern systems (or even older systems for that matter), I walked him through all sorts of virtualization options, programs to adjust disc read speed, dosbox configuration, and even how to properly set up DOS so that it plays nicely with XP.
And then he told me that he couldn't get WarCraft 3 working...
Why is SC4 even remotely close to Geometry Wars?
