If you're thinking of the 40% stat, you're a little off. Half of people in this country with HIV/AIDS are black- half of the black population doesn't have HIV/AIDS (that I have read). Might be a different report, but that recent one was specifically a 40% of AIDS persons being black.

Yeah, I guess I missread the article. It was on msn. com some time last week and I can't find it (don't have too much time either to research). The article from CNN I posted said that African-Americans account for 45% of new HIV cases each year and I think that info came from a CDC report. Regardless, that's not a good trend to have.

I knew it: The jews/martians/fbi had the antidote all along!
