The problem is "free". If you're willing to spend as little as $10u a month you can pretty much get more than you'd ever need. 50mb, 20 emails, ftp, your won domain name, you name it...
Free = you get what you pay for. :(
This is who I use just for linking pics, really. They don't give you terribly much space, only 12mb, but as a pics server, they are quite good :D

Only $5 a month, less if you pay a year at a time. The host I'm using and everything has been great. Easy to use and quick response time for any problems. Seems speedy and reliable so far for me, though I only been using it for a week or so.
