Seriously dude. Harley cleaned up and wassup boobwoman!
I want to play through this again. Game is so good.
I love the first game so much that I went out and bought it again, on PS3 this time (trophies!). It's even better this time around.
Seriously, AC is probably my most anticipated game of this year...

According to a preview in the latest issue of PSM3, Rocksteady's forthcoming sequel to Batman: Arkham Asylum, called Batman: Arkham City, will feature a multiplayer mode. The details on what this can mean are scarce, as the preview only reads "Multiplayer is a certainty, but [there are] no details on this yet." Whether or not this was confirmed to the magazine by the game's developer or if the writer is just making assumptions is unclear. A cooperative multiplayer mode has been rumored for awhile, with folks throwing around the idea that a second player may control either long-time Batman sidekick or the slinky Catwoman.
Why did they have to shoehorn multi-player in? Unless it's co-op, it can GTFO, and even then I'm wary.
*Downgraded from "day 1" to "need more information first."
Sweet pics though. I like the detail in this one.

I love that a "multiplayer mode" immediately ruins the game for you
In a style of game that is entirely single-player centered, yes it does, especially when it takes usually ends up taking away from the single-player experience.
Here's how I feel:
The engine was pretty fucking tight the first go around. Graphics were good, gameplay was great. They had a good idea of what they were trying to do. They've had what 2 years to figure out what they're doing?
As long as it doesn't feel forced, or take away from the single player, I say go for it.
If it's Batman: Arkham Spys vs Mercs, hell yes.
If it's Batman & Robin: Arkham Henchmen Bustin' Bonanza, fucking hell yes.
If it's just Batman: Arkham Deathmatch, get fucked.
I hope it is local multiplayer mode. I'd love to be able to play that mode with my brother.
