Really? Did you read the article? Cape doesn't work still, all I needed to hear. :lol:
That was an amazingly bad article. Why didn't they just type blah blah blah a few times and run a pile of pictures instead of bothering with text? It would have been more informative than a progress report on cape physics and the writer's unfamiliarity with DC characters.

The whole, oh and then there was this character that I don't know and only fans will know, oh and then another, and another was obnoxious.
Well, he's writing for the Wired audience, which doesn't 100% cross over with the comic/videogame folks.
This looks awesome, but the probability that the gameplay will be repetitive and annoying seems very high. Guarded optimism.
Adventures of Batman and Robin captured the 90s animated series fairly well.. especially the Sega CD version that includes an original full-length BTAS episode.
Honestly, we've only recently seen a Batman license capture the material and overall themes seen in the comics. I'm sure a developer will get it right fairly soon.
