I'd take Fuse. Though Devil's Crush is the better game Alien is a great title as well, board layout is lovely. There's a Japanese trailer out for this ( Isuck at youtube tags) but it looks competent in motion.

I don't recall any response issues but I don't agree people saying it's way better than Alien Crush. It is awesome and has more screens but don't expect a big leap in quality for gameplay, graphics, or music. Jaki Crush (SFC) is worth checking out, too, although I don't like it as much.

The fact that the screen scrolls with the ball in Devil's Crush makes it a million times better. The flick between screens is the thing that really holds back Alien Crush.

Yeah, I don't get why people think Devil's Crush is a better game either. I like the table layout of Alien Crush more.

Yeah, I downloaded it, and what you said - there are more screens and more things going on, but I'm not enjoying it as much as Alien Crush so far. The table doesn't feel as tight or well put together; more isn't necessarily better. And I can kind of see the responsiveness thing, but it's really, really slight.

But I haven't spent a ton of time with it, these are just initial impressions.
