For players who are confident in their alien crushing skills, they can
go online to play against a friend to see who can get the higher
score! Alien Crush Returns is the only pinball game for WiiWare that
lets gamers compete head to head online. In addition, the game
includes online leader boards for score-obsessed pinball players.

With the release of Alien Crush Returns on WiiWare, Hudson
Entertainment will offer several online tournaments, including one

Yeah, the DS is dragging games down, even remakes of 20 year old games.

I've always wanted to play the original 'crush games, but never got around to it.

They are still on my list of "need to play games" though after all these years.

To be fair, Metroid Pinball was pretty good on the DS.

Metroid Pinball sucks.

Zombie Crush... er, I mean Pinball of the Dead is pretty good too.

I haven't been able to find a copy of Pinball of the Dead. Must find.... game.

Yes, this is the good one.

I liked Metroid Pinball a lot more than I did Pinball of the Dead, although the latter has the better theme by far.

I like Devil's Crush more than Alien Crush.

I'd take Fuse. Though Devil's Crush is the better game Alien is a great title as well, board layout is lovely. There's a Japanese trailer out for this ( Isuck at youtube tags) but it looks competent in motion.

I don't recall any response issues but I don't agree people saying it's way better than Alien Crush. It is awesome and has more screens but don't expect a big leap in quality for gameplay, graphics, or music. Jaki Crush (SFC) is worth checking out, too, although I don't like it as much.

The fact that the screen scrolls with the ball in Devil's Crush makes it a million times better. The flick between screens is the thing that really holds back Alien Crush.

Yeah, I downloaded it, and what you said - there are more screens and more things going on, but I'm not enjoying it as much as Alien Crush so far. The table doesn't feel as tight or well put together; more isn't necessarily better. And I can kind of see the responsiveness thing, but it's really, really slight.

But I haven't spent a ton of time with it, these are just initial impressions.
