So why is Otogi good again?
After Metal Wolf Chaos (awful outside of the theme and cutscenes), the recent non-Acquire Tenchu games, and my five minutes of indifference to Otogi 2, I just can't write off From Software, for whatever reason. And I find that I'm absolutely in love with Armored Core for Answer.
So someone tell me why I should put more than five minutes into Otogi.
Hey, if you don't like it, you don't like it. It's okay. Personally, I think it's an excellent action game with great atmosphere, mood, and a tragic back story. I really disliked the timer for each level, though. It prevents you from really enjoying and exploring the levels more.
My thoughts exactly. The atmosphere was perfect, felt ancient and all, but that timer bleh, odd thing to do with a game like that. I really hope Ninja Blaiden doesn't have it though.
Will keep an eye out for it, it's one of those games I want to play but will have a hard time paying the full price for it. Wait and see I guess...

Oh goodie, QTE's.
An ass ton of QTE's... what fun.
EDIT: Finished demo impressions: MEH.
It's weird. I normally complain about QTEs but I found them pretty cool in this demo; they remind me of old laserdisc-style QTEs (in a good way) more than most modern ones for some reason. The boss battle felt pretty epic and I love the running speed. I had hardly any interest in this before given I'm not a big From Software fan but now I plan on picking this up eventually.
I'd pick it up for 20 dollars or less. I didn't feel that it was a bad game, but I have alot of single player games to keep me satisfied till it hits the price that I want it for.
I hated it.
If its like 20 bucks I MIGHT consider picking it up.
