It all comes down to Stewart's poor play calling. He wants to bring a blitz, well the opponent eats that up with a screen play. He wants to go into pass coverage set, well the opponent runs the ball down the Cowboys throats.
Just watching the game against the Cardinals was a painful example of how out-of-touch Stewart is with his plays. How many times did we see the Cards with 3rd and long, yet the Cowboys would sit back and watch the Cards find a way to get those yards? If it was the Giants, they'd throw the kitchen sink into a blitz package, every time they had 3rd and long sitting in front of them.
The weak secondary is no excuse, when we saw the Giants make a run to the Superbowl with a patched up secondary made up of converted safeties and 2nd stringers. They compensated for their weakness by going with their strength: the defensive front. Dallas should do the same and they haven't.
You have to love stupid ass affirmative action. No, you can't reward a white guy without giving a black guy an interview first. Of course, if Haslett were black, no one else has to be interviewed. If I were Jerry Jones, I'd fire Wade Phillips, interview six Asian guys, and then hire a white guy.

Mike Singletary doesn't need Affirmative Action. I'd hire him just to kill Wade Phillips.
Finally a coach I can enjoy watching. One game till meltdown. Damn that's impressive.
I understand that rule but it's too one sided. In the case of Singletary are they going to have to interview other "minorities" before sticking w/him if they choose to? Since Singletary is black are white guys included in the "minorities" now? Or as Yoshi said would the "minorities" be Asians or Mexicans?
Bottom line is the owners and GMs know who they want from the get go. Wheter the person is black, white, green, purple, whatever. It's a rule that needs to go and is a waste.
I love when people throw in "purple" so as not to appear racist.
I have to say, I don't see why the Pats are 6 point underdogs at Indy this week. Both teams have struggled, but Indy looks crappy. I'd say it's pretty even.
In his first game, he takes out the QB after one half, kicks his best or second best player out of the game (both may have been understandable) and pulls his pants down.
