The Patriots won three Super Bowls running the ball and playing defense. Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl in a similar situation. Kerry Collins is 10-1 in a similar situation now.
Dante Culpepper looked like a Hall of Famer throwing to Randy Moss. Matt Cassell has thrown for 400 yards in back-to-back games throwing to him with all day back there now.
Tom Brady is more overrated than Sydney Crosby, and that is saying something.

When Cassel throws 50 fucking touchdowns in a season, then you can begin to have this argument with people. Right now, he's doing his job, because the system that Bellicheck uses requires a higher football I.Q. than Talent peak. Thats all. The system still requires an exceptional Quarterback to thrive under, and it takes someone as good as Brady to completely dominate it.
Maybe you should just take a step back and realize, Cassel is most likely an exceptional Quarterback who never got a chance to play a full season.
And stop pretending the Patriots aren't a real Dynasty. They are. 3 Superbowls, the two longest winning streaks ever (counting post season and the next season) and an 18 -1 season all happening in the Salary cap era means they are.
