I'd avoid buying the Infinity Engine games on GOG right now, as there's a great anthology that costs less than buying the games individually - even at these sale prices.
I dunno, I've paid more for something just so I can have it available for download as opposed to on disc. But I think I might just like wasting money!
If you don't mind retail PC stuff, I can't think of a better $20 to spend on RPGs
Syndicate came out last week. It still holds up quite well. I forgot how great the game looks. They did a great job of making attractive high-resolution graphics that hid the colour limitations imposed by that rather odd display mode.
So it looks like there might actually be a chance of getting EA expansions:
Couple this with hints about something coming tomorrow, and it sounds like somebody may have finally cut through the red tape that barred EA expansions. This means that we might see Alien Crossfire or American Revolt on GOG.Quote:
Trying to get sign off on expansion for EA games on GOG. Might actually kill me....
The Alpha Centauri expansion would be really awesome...
Shame I can't get AC to run on my computer.
Nice! But you forgot the Wing Commander 1+2 expansions AKA BEST EXPANSIONS EVER.

New publisher. I have a feeling it's Eidos/SquareEnix. I was really hoping for the expansions but I've always wanted to play Anacrhonox so this could be nice too.
awful port of FF7 omgomgomg
Square Enix can mean Thief and Thief 2 which is great.
Also, fuck the EA expansions, I'm still waiting on fucking System Shock 2. Why has that not been released on GOG yet?
What kind of loser doesn't already own the CD release?
System Shock 2 is in lawyer hell.
