I'm also cautiously optimistic. Sonic Unleashed (hate that name) seems to have promise and I loved PSO, so perhaps they can hammer out something decent.

The Phantasy Star series is going nowhere until Sega of Japan and America start communicating and funneling proper resources to support online play.
Yay, generic and kiddy character designs.

Trainwreck ahoy.
Hey, I like half of those designs, I mean, how can you go wrong with a RAcast with a Beam cannon? Or whatever the character in the lower left is supposed to be, oh and look! some dude has a Sword!
my hopes for the game haven't been ruined yet.....
god sega, please don't ruin my hopes.
Whawhawhat? More PSO? HOT. HOTHOTHOT. When they say "Wi-Fi," though, do they mean REAL wi-fi, or just that local nonsense? And really, this should have been on the PSP, not the DS, even though I love the DS. And and, tell me this is going to be nothing like that PSU garbage.
But... calling it "Phantasy Star 0" is kind of trashy, and I can understand why people would be pissed.
Given that Sega has not been providing the United States or Europe the same level of online support as Japan, I doubt the success of Phantasy Star Portable in Japan would mean much for its US prospects unless things change. The same goes for any future take on this series.
Come on, it's "PS0". You should be pumped!
