Yup. I was royally pissed when a neighbor called about the one bonfire and when the FD showed up they bullshitted with the kids for half an hour before they decided to put it out.

It was funny though. I recorded them one night. Got full names and everything. The college keeps saying they have "no way to prove it's their students". So we had a bit of a neighborhood meeting with a university official and some City Council people. They tried telling us this shit again (forget the fact that all their cars have campus parking stickers on them) so I pulled out the audio. Lovely swearing, screaming and full names. I told them to politely look at their student registry since they now have no reason to place the blame elsewhere.

Nah, it's kind of awkward to carry around a kitchen knife in your handbag (and also probably illegal - concealed weapon?). At least with the kobatan she can carry it on her keys or something.
