I've been trying to get my upstairs neighbor in trouble for months now. The fucker beats his wife and kids, I know it, but the landlord only tells me to call the police. Whenever I call the police they either send someone over who rings the douchebag's doorbell and leaves a few minutes later or they tell me they can't send someone unless I know for sure - what, like he's out in the street beating them?
I mean, I hear him cuss at the top of his lungs (usually something to the effect of, "Get the fuck over here NOW! Goddamn it, bitch!") then I hear thumps and then crying. Usually he hits the kids, they cry, and then the wife tries to intercede and she gets it. I've even called child services to no avail.
