I'm interested to learn what hobbies people have. Obviously, we got to TNL by being into videogames, but I was thinking about how my own hobbies have evolved in the last couple years.
A lot of us don't play games much anymore, if at all, and I'm in that group. I think as we've branched out TNL has accommodated our hobbies, and we get a lot of interesting threads out of them now. That's a big part of the reason TNL is more than a videogame forum these days. I wonder what other interesting hobbies people here have that maybe aren't reflected in TNL (yet!).
My old hobbies were:
1. Videogames
2. Toy/card collecting
3. Baseball
4. Music
Currently my hobbies are:
1. Sports, no longer limited to baseball
2. Cars
3. Coffee and espresso
4. Alcoholic beverages (beyond getting drunk)
As it applies to TNL, I used to post in the videogame and music forums a lot. I hardly ever do now. Sports now has it's own forum when it used to be lumped into general discussion, and we have the awesome TNL fantasy leagues which I perennially dominate. I'm proud of the car threads that I started, and sometimes post to myself in :). That gigantic election thread shows that politics is a big one for a few people here.
Not sure where I want this thread to go exactly. Just tell us about your hobbies, specifically any that don't get normal action on TNL.
