The goalie is the hardest piece to get, so if Lundqvist is as good as you think he is, that really shows how awful Sather is at getting a useful team around him.

Lundqvist and Nabakov both deserved the Vezina over Marty last year. I, personally, think Nabakov deserved it more than anyone.
If you're going to bust out Stanley Cups as the sole measure of a goalie then I can show you a few that have more hardware than Mr. Brodeur. In any event, you can't compare any of HL's teams to any of MB's Stanley Cup winning teams. The rosters aren't even in the same stratosphere. Malik? Strudwick? Kalinin? Tyutin? Talk about scrubs in front of you. Those guys are/were all awful.
I'm with you on Sather. He hasn't done a good enough job in front of HL - but that's not Lundqvist's fault, nor is it a measure of him as a goalie. 30+ win seasons with an average team in front of you for 4 seasons isn't "cute", it's a measure of success as a goaltender - especially this season where he's gotten absolutely no support.
If you don't think he's among the best in the NHL and the East...
