I'm always here to help. ;)
Oh hey look Lundqvist just got beat high. lol.
this new-this-year Dubinsky line is great.
Avery's such a bitch.
Gomez should have been penalized on that play. You're not allowed to throw your stick to a teammate, you have to hand it off. I remember that getting called...I think in the playoffs.
There you go, the announcer just caught it. LOL there you go, announcers. Great job, Refs.
My fav. thing about this game (besides that the Rangers are currently losing) is the few penalties I've seen so far. These are the types of games that I expect Dallas to be playing, low scoring defensive affairs.
Avery was a total non-factor.
Bring it home now, Turco. Excellent.
I didn't expect a victory tonight, quite honestly. Rangers are playing their 7th game in 11 days, they were abysmal against the Pac West last year, and Dallas really needed to start turning their shit around. The team looked tired. If there's anything we can learn from the past week or two it's that all three metro area teams can make any goalie look good. It's going to be a long year, scoring-wise.
Only the Dubinsky line looked like it was really moving tonight.
Renney's postgame comments are great. "Why the sparse offense?"
"We were stupid." and then goes on to say what I forgot to type...the Rangers didn't play nearly enough dump and chase after Dallas fell back into the defensive scheme.
Just to irritate haoh, I'll selectively choose to post my first PPG East standings of the year today:
1. Montreal 1.83*
2. New Jersey 1.60*
3. Washington 1.40*
4. Buffalo 1.80
5. NY Rangers 1.44
6. Carolina 1.40
7. Pittsburgh 1.29
8. Boston 1.20
9. Ottawa 1.00
10. Atlanta 1.00
11. Florida 0.80
12. NY Islanders 0.80
13. Toronto 0.80
14. Tampa Bay 0.60
15. Philoldelphia 0.40
Note: I used ESPN's tie breakers for tied teams without looking at what they were.
nhl.com can't even get their stats straight. In a blurb about today's games:

LOL at that breakaway Parros v. Toronto.
I agree with Engblom...Boston looks even more legit than last year. Ugh, Boston.
Holy asscakes. Miller with a huge save.
LOL @ Philadelphia.
Your PPG didn't mean jack shit in the playoffs, did it? ;)
