Buying tickets early sucks when this shit happens.
Here is the full list of injured players that will miss tonight's game, which I am going to be at, against Buffalo:
Martin Brodeur 30 G
Brian Rolston 12 C
Bobby Holik 16 C
Pierre Luc Letourneau-Leblond 25 RW
Andy Greene 6 D
Paul Martin 7 D
The lineup I get to see will feature Petr Vrana, Nicklas Bergfors, Sheldon Brookbank, Anssi Salmela and Kevin Weekes against one of the better offenses in the NHL...and we saw what happened when we went up against a hot offense when we played the Flyers. So, Great.
I'm bringing a friend to his first hockey game too.

That's the Rangers.
We'll see. Parise's been scoring at a superstar rate and that is going to tail off/streak. It really depends on how long Weekes will have to back up the team, because our team is probably an under .500 team without Marty backstopping most of the games.
Weekes is getting a workout, eh?
Good lord, the poor islanders
Brodeur is out until February.
This year is probably a wash, though if Weekes plays as well as he did last night and we get the rest of the team back, we may squeak into the playoffs.
What? I thought he had a bruised elbow???
Nah it's the same thing that happened to Weekes last year so I was expecting it, because even though they weren't revealing injury info Weekes was talking about how he had an injury diagnosed as a bruised elbow and it ended up being a torn biceps tendon.
You knew it was a tear when you saw the injury because he hurt it from stretching, not from an impact.
So....I mean....I have tickets for the game on Sunday against Edmonton and then I'll probably not get up for any more games until the rest of the team is healthy again. If that happens.
