Fucking Rangers. Ugh Edmonton is not good.
Oh look, Lundqvist is weak high glove. Still, you got one point. Motherfuckers.
Thanks, Hemsky. Edmonton may not be good but I've been impressed with your third string goalie.
No, it makes me look absolutely correct when all the goals he lets in are weak high glove. It's not my fault I'm right.
This is another post-lockout Devils fan characteristic: talk shit about teams that just beat your ass. The Oilers have played THREE home games and, what, ELEVEN on the road and have pretty much the same record as your prestigious/elite franchise nearly a quarter a way into the season. Remember all of the whining last year from <cough> certain Devils fans about how many road games they had to play early? I don't hear that from Oiler fans.
Our prestigious elite franchise has 8 starters out due to injury so why don't you sit the FUCK down before you turn into YOSHI.
And Edmonton doesn't have a great record on this road trip, though they did manage to beat a crippled Devils team and a mediocre Ranger team on back to back nights. So, good for them. They are not good and are a bubble team at best for the playoffs. And you know it's true. So shut the fuck up.
Yeah, Brodeur in his storied career has never let a goal in. Glove side, 5 hole, stick side or anywhere else. When he does let a goal in, one of these days, I'll be sure to point out that it must be a "weakness" to let a goal in. Anywhere. Right. That's way many who (professionally) have been talking about goaltenders have routinely put Lundqvist in the top 3 and many are talking Vezina this year - because he has a weak glove side. Ridiculous.
The season isn't over yet. It's ridiculous to talk Vezina with under a quarter of the season gone. Especially when you consider the Rangers' schedule.
Although I admit he has a shot now that Brodeur is out all year.
Right. And tell me what you've accomplished post-lockout, besides tons of excuses and not being able to score. You have one offensive player on the right side of 34 and had no injuries of consequence in the playoffs last year and got your asses handed to you. When I mention that Jagr was hurt and Lundqvist played with a separated shoulder the last, and only, time that your franchise beat mine in the playoffs I was told it didn't matter.
I give them a better shot than the Devils right now at making the playoffs and you know I'm right. So you can shut the fuck up and win a few games before you start talking more shit about teams that beat you.
Edmonton is 6-6 on the road after playing, what, 85% of their games there? I'd take that as an Oilers fan.
See, this is the kind of shit that makes you look like a homer and not a fan of the NHL. Any impartial idiot with any common sense would notice that Lundqvist has been a Vezina finalist (three chosen ) each year for each of the last three years. Vezina finalists don't have glaring weaknesses (for example, a "weak glove side") *especially* when it's in consecutive years. Are you going to tell me that Marty has a particular weakness (he has also shared this honor in three consecutive seasons) because he was also a finalist for the last three years? It ridiculous. You should give the guy a little more respect and even more so because he outplayed your Vezina winner in nearly every game the two have played against each other last year, last years playoffs, and this year.
