Seems a lot of us having different versions of this game and, at least for the Wii build, the in-game leaderboard sucks --

The helibots get me killed more often than I care to admit. I'm also being more stingy with my weapon energy than I probably should be, but it seems that the only way to get items at all is to get them to drop from enemies.
85 screens so far. I'll be putting more time into this this afternoon.
I think you fight a boss every 30 screens or so, too.

Up to 1020 and still going. Once you've seen every mini-level multiple times, it's easy to get into a rhythm for it. The enemies seem to cause more damage as you clear more screens, though. I noticed a significant difference around the 500 mark.
A VC-like save state would sure come in handy for this.
