More info.

The storyline is supposedly similar to Resident Evil (odd choice, considering the past two EA themes). Some bad guys are making monsters out of biological experiments, and Zack & Irina are sent in to stop them. You have 12 shots per clip, and the gun has a red button on the back for something.

EADP's screen layout seems to be tate, like Police 911. The graphics remind me a bit of PS3 Time Crisis 4 (I'm wondering if Nextech is working on this one, since they've collaborated with Taito previously on Battle Gear 3).

biiiizarrrrre
I'd rather have a platformer; arcades don't have a shortage of gun games at the moment, but what are the recent arcade platformers?
-
Lol @ kotaku using the headline "Elevator Action Returns". Way to be technically correct yet confusing as hell at the same time. :bang:
I love this idea tho'.

This is what Square owning Taito does. Why am I not surprised?

I suppose this would be better than Taito attempting a 3D Elevator Action platformer and ending up with some clusterfuck from the lowest depth of Hell - as SNK did with that 3D Metal Slug. *retch*
If there's a true sequel to EA Returns, watch it probably be on PSP or NDS. Maybe even Wii if we're lucky.
