I regularly walked from the Kinokuniya on 49th to Thailand Café down on 2nd and St. Marks, and then i'd walk to Sunshine Cinemas down on Houston, between 2nd and 1st. And then if i felt like it, i'd walk up to Forbidden Planet, and then to Yu-nee-un Square, my wheel needs repair to catch the subway to Jamaica and walk another 8 blocks back to the closest place i could park my car and wasn't afraid of my shit getting stolen by Ashen Victor.
Ya'll's a bunch of lazies. I bet you all have big butts and soft hands.
what are we talking about anyway.
Why would you walk when the subway goes everywhere and costs like $2?
why are all you dinnermashers still talking about walking
This. I plan on taking a day or two during the week when nothing is going on (assuming that I can arrange it all) and exploring the city all by my lonesome. I wanted to do this last time but then all of a sudden there were a million TNLers and we all wanted to drink. Nice.
Bahn was kidding. It's about 2 miles, I think. Maybe 2.5 if there was some lateral movement. Long walk, not ridiculous, but uncomfortable in the scorching heat. I've done it, but only at night.
Let's make the next get together in mid-spring please, like April so it's not ridiculously hot.
