Making a Podcast via Skype

Call me crazy, but I've been itching to make a TNL/Gears Crew podcast after all the podcasts I've been listening to lately. As far as doing that locally goes, I can easily do it with Soundtrack Pro and the mics I have. The thing I am trying to figure out is including people over the internet through skype or some other program. Mainly, I just need to record everyone's dialogue, but what I am trying to figure out is if I should, or can I even, do that through STP, or should STP not even be brought into the equation till after all the audio has been recorded. The project is mainly just for fun, also because the 1up Yours guys were pissing me off in their last podcast and I want to see if some of us could do it better, but it could be entertaining for the community. Any advice would be appreciated, and I guess for info sake, it would more than likely be myself and wEEman locally and then getting Sinista, K3V, and Netwurked, along with anyone else really interested via skype or another program.

EDIT: I suppose one way would be to have a mic catching the audio that is coming from skype out of the speaker and then then another mic catching the audio from weeman and myself, but if there is a much better way, do please tell

TNL already had a podcast with a bunch of faggots yelling at each other. It didn't go over very well.

No one wants to hear a bunch of gays who can't even post anything entertaining screaming about how B-Ri should have used the shotgun.

I enjoyed listening to the faggots on the old podcasts masturbating each other.

If I were doing this specifically for TNL, then that would be a different story, but until then shut the fuck up or offer something constructive.

I'm down for it, but we'd need some focus for the episodes (if there is more than one). Rambling podcasts with nobody reigning it in suck, we'd need someone to be host and keep things on point if things stray too far and start to get retarded.

Oh of course. If there is to be more than one episode, we will have to wait and see how the first goes. This wouldn't be done until Dec to figure out the best way to record it as well as organize topics for the discussion.

Also, I got it working with skype using splitters, connecting line out to line in, etc.
