Zelda Skyward Sword Official

After hearing Amazon had run out of bundles, and calling around to find they're sold out everywhere, I was furious, mostly with myself for letting them do this to me again. But then they got another batch in, and it shipped yesterday, and should be here tomorrow if UPS tracking is to be believed. (They also sent out a $10 credit as an apology.)

Of course, just in time for my holiday marathon waggle-fest, my Wii has started making an annoying buzzing sound. Quick google search reveals this can be fixed without too much fuss, but of course it requires Nintendo's gay Tri-wing screwdriver which you can only get online. It's always something. Guess I'll put some blankets over the system or something to try to dampen the noise for now. Hopefully it starts a fire and burns me to death. :tu:

I randomly walked into a Kmart and they had one controller bundle left. Woohoo!

I've never used a wiimote with the jacket thing on it, it's comfy but weird. Do most of you prefer to have it on or leave it off?

I take it off. I hate how they incorporated the ugly, uncircumcised shape into the Zelda UI.

Luckily you can turn it all off right near the end of Hogwarts after the Snitch part.

I think he meant the physical sleeve. Which is weird (I had a Wii before they made those and never bothered getting one), but nice.

Also: I'm torn on this game. It's Puzzelda All the Time, but it also has some really interesting, cool things that remind me of when Zelda used to be about adventure and discovery and combat, not animu and furries and puzzles.

So did I. I took it off. And then I mentioned that the in-game UI resembles the controller with the protective cover and it looks horrible.

I don't use the Wiicondom, or the wrist strap, and like Mzo I turned off the control interface as soon as it let me.

Anyway, I always assumed that the whole repeating the "you got a blue rupee!" message in TP that came up every damn time after you turn off the system was a bug... but now it happens with EVERY GODDAMN LITTLE COLLECTIBLE BULLSHIT in this game. The worst!
