Why does our (North America + Europe) culture treat all non-Christian religions they way one might treat a Ziplock bag full of anthrax?

Shit that might be offensive to Christians never gets pulled. Hell, shit that might be offensive to Christians gets actively pushed when it's funny. But swap in something like Islam into the same situation and we all go retarded.


We end up with things that might be offensive to rational people like "Saints Row 2" happily living on the shelves while something as obscure as lines from the Koran set to music gets pulled because it might be offensive to a small number of wackos.
