I'll be in my room listening to this for four years.
Oh, I'm here.
I'm sorry buddy. Is San Fran expecting a Bayxit?
Game ain't over. ;)

Wishful thinking IMO.

Seriously—I don't want anything that let THAT happen in to this place.
Yeah but IS THIS BOTTOM!? Celebrities will be lining up for these positions now. Get ready for Secretary of State Snooki
This seems right and obvious right now. In the end can't stump the Trump, bitches. I'm actually curious to see how dysfunctional a Trump White House is.
People have been trying to explain that to Yeller for months. It was ALWAYS obvious.
Kiss my ass. Bernie was a non starter.
I wholeheartedly disagree and I have from the beginning.
Every bar in Toronto watching the election. It went mad silent when the path to victory for Trump was announced.
I don't mind Trump winning as long as he gets assassinated in the first couple months.
Pence is worse IMO.
Yeah I don't think so. I thought HRC was a good choice at the time, but face the facts. Bernie had an organic quality people gravitated towards. Like his policies or not, that draw is what wins elections. HRC has been fighting an uphill battle but how many times is she going to lose before it's obvious to you she can't close?
This doesn't solve anything. Trump is BETTER than Cruz and many other candidates.
MR SECRET SERVICE MAN I'M NOT WITH HIM
*edit* mechdeus that is
I think no matter who wins, it's going to be ugly. Not predicting an assassination. But would anyone be surprised? 50% of the country is going to be nutshit in a way they might not have been 8 years ago, 4 years ago. And I get that Obama is black.
I hope Trump gets Canada to pay for that Mexican wall.
Canada can't stump
Dear America,
I apologize for the next four years being obnoxious.
MAGA,
Doc

The markets are going to crash bad tomorrow, it's going to be an ugly day of work
Let's paint the White House gold!
Pennsylvania is tied.
Fuuuuuuuuuu
It's been over for a while. Gonna be a hell of a show.
Jesus. Trading on Nasdaq and S&P futures has been halted now
This proves a few things:
Though Repubs were on the front lines, it goes to show that the Democratic party is just as divided. So many are blaming the lack of Bernie for the loss - this would not have made a difference in the states that are now battlegrounds. Both parties failures to consider the reality of class differences, and both have suffered because of it. The democrats will now turn against each other as the republicans have - the "old style" and the "new progressives."
Secondly, CA/WA/OR desperately needs some sovereignty. For CA, the sixth largest economy in THE WORLD - to be held hostage by disenfranchised midwesternites - absolutely unforgivable. If this is what it takes for true change, than count me in. But it's gonna suck.
Third, this puts political science on its side. Polling, whatever - all proven wrong, desperately wrong.
Fourth, Americas true president is Television. The allure of this reality star TV icon being elected takes precedence over experience and competence.
where the hell is Yoshi anyway
that has been bugging me
the NFL got shitty and he dropped off the face of the earth
Clinton staff closing up shop, ready to admit defeat.

If CA wants sovereignty why do they keep voting for liberals that want to keep expanding the federal government instead of states rights conservatives? I don't buy it. This is a huge country with lots of people. We try to make it work but I think we are all the better for it.
You're right on the polling. It's an utter disaster. These people don't know shit. I wonder how things would have gone had 538 and others actually showed it to be a 50/50 election.
Yoshi lives. He voted!
Oh - it will never happen. we will vote against our interests time and time again, and this is wishful thinking on my part. I don't know how I feel about better with the rest versus worse on our own right now.....come back to me in a few months. I blame the Boomers, as always.
Don't rip the pollsters. You guys play games. You know you roll low often. Polling error was poor but the race was never close to a guarantee. 2016 year of the upset.
Dat rng.
I don't think you can take your ball and go home at this point. And isn't true only Texas could conceivably do it anyway, as a Republic.
Well pollsters treat qualitative data (an ballot expressing predicted opinion) as quantitative data. People in my industry do this all the time, because they have such a hard on for measurable results. For a widespread poll like this, in a country that is skeptical of government, it's bound to be a disaster. Canadians are fucking census nerds on the other extreme.
Van Jones is breaking down.
Marijuana is doing really well.
Yup, California finally, finally got its head out of its ass. Weed lollipops imminent, Sats! We're going to fucking need them.
We're gonna need those weed lollipops!
/edit comment twins!!!!
omg
Yeah, in California we're getting weed and Trump. We're going to need it.
hive mind
I had to watch this shit unfold while working until 9 on a 2x7 hiperwall layout.
I went by the local coffee spot in midtown Sacramento afterwards and everyone was just walking around with their heads down in a daze.
Fuck.
Weed.
I'll be impressed if he wins
On the PBS stream they're saying the Clinton campaign needs to clear out in 45 mins, there's another convention booked. lol
Legalizing in Maine, too, it looks like. If I smoked it I'd be thrilled, but I'm glad it's available for those who will be needing it.
I feel like I'm on acid.
All of my friends of non-Bible-belt-approved religions and lifestyles are freaking out. Understandably so.
Will we see civil unrest tomorrow?
Trump is going to sweep the Rult Belt. NAFTA won this and Moore called it. Sorry, lads.

Pennsylvania just called for Trump.
It's over.
I cannot believe it.
/Dynamite Heady.
A part of me still thinks it is a long con. That they deliberately set her up to be the underdog, so it won't look rigged. Something is fishy about it at least. I can't recall the last election where both candidates were so silent. While driving down I don't think I heard any commentary or speechs from either. So I still kind of think I'll wake up tomorrow and she will have pulled it out in the end like a Hollywood sport's movie. You know, a narrative that the average american will buy.
But hey, if I'm wrong, we'll know a handful of things. 1. Yeller was wrong. 2. The system isn't as rigged as much as we thought or 3. It is double rigged, and things are much bigger than the Clinton's.
Things will hopefully be ok with Emperor Trump. We have no reason to believe he will do anything he said he would. He has zero history of delivering on anything outside of making himself money and doing what he wants. And until this election he has been a democrat. Maybe that is the great con of it, regardless of who wins, we were going to get a 90s style democrat.
The fbi involvement still puzzles me. If they really were out to ruin Hillary, why? I thought the Clinton's were on pretty good grounds with them.
It has begun.
CNN is getting weird.
Corey Lewandowski is being The Worst Person Alive right now on CNN.
So various news sources are saying Trump has got the college votes now.
Yeah, he absolutely crushed her. WHAT A SURPRISE
U mad bro?
It's over. Clinton concedes.
I'll be damned.
Quote from my mom tonight: "At least Hollywood will realize now that they're not as powerful as they think they are."
Then I imagine an entire country of that.
I think I'm starting to understand now.
Yikes.
Does he want this? He looks like Mr Garrison.
lol, he does.
Well.
That is definitively a part of it. Like the news story I responded to earlier. People are tired of being manipulated and treated like they are stupid.
Though, it could be argued that electing trump was very much a "oh yeah, I can't be that stupid, well I'll show you just how stupid I can be!"
Good luck.
Did no one listen to Michael Moore?
all this positive spin on CNN and no one wants to talk about a guy getting elected via hate, disgust, spite, rage and fear
The good news is, comedians are going to have a lot to work with.
yeah, we're going to have a lot to laugh about. on the way up or down.
It will be the funniest things, I tell you. No one says funnier things than him.
There was a huge denial from multiple parties about the impact of internet culture, social networks, etc on elections. If it can work for Obama, it can just as easily be adapted to support another party. We dems wanted to believe that we had a monopoly on digital culture, as in the past, but we do not. Everyone, even republicans, have the Internet in their pockets. Media cannot ignore this and pretend it doesn't exist.
Sats, I don't know about that. There is a lot online about trump being horrible.
It seems like when you get down to it, almost every adult white male came out and voted for their job. Tpp and meetings with bankers probably ruined it for hillary. And the assumption that naftas was all on bill. All the patronizing ads didn't help ether.
Trump got oboma's "Change" votes. The majority is just not interested in prebubble politicians getting another crack at it.
Bernie could have won. I hope yeller is happy with himself.
Then perhaps he should have?
Oh, no, I know there's a lot online about Trump being shitty, the problem is there's a lot online about him being great too - especially in circles that are, as you said - are predominately adult white males. I think the left discounted these groups as marginal, and this is obviously not the case. Perhaps it's a symptom of the progressives becoming almost too complacent with their advocacy - promoting visibility and diversity when the reality is that they shift back to the minority (I mean in the online sense, where they(progressives, outliers) once dominated.)
I really, really feel like it was a gross error on the part of the progressive left to not take these white men into consideration. It was attempt to break the status quo and it failed miserably.
Lol @ people for voting for Hillary in the primaries, really chose a winner there.
