Samurai- Deadly and cool. Had high code of honor: would burn incense in helmets so that scent would not offend opponent if beheaded. Seven Samurai is the greatest movie ever. Ran, Yojimbo, and many other classic films feature samurai. Rurouni Kenshin, the great anime series that Trigun ripped off. Blade of the Immortal and Lone Wolf and Cub, some of the best manga out there feature samurai. Last Blade, Samurai Showdown, and Bishamon from Darkstalkers.
Ninja- Deadly and cool. Can do countless magical things. Standing upon something really tall with moon in the background while scarf blows in the wind is the coolest pose ever. Super stealthy, can kill you without you knowing they were there. Smoke bombs. Can have dog as accesory. Shinobi, Ninja Gaiden, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Strider. Not to mention Hanzo, Galford, Snake Eyes, and Shadow. Will punch you for opening a window, can wail on guitars.
