TNL Legends - November 2008 Inductees
TNL continues to honor the members who have contributed to the unique flavor of the forum and the site as a whole. We have been fortunate enough to have many entertaining and well-informed people call the site home, and there is no shortage of users who deserve to be recognized for making Internet life so much more enjoyable over a period of years. Below are the names of ten more inductees into the hall of fame of this special community. See how many you can guess before highlighting the blacked-out text.

As a moderator and as a prolific contributor to the Gaming Discussion board particularly known for his "game of the month" polls, Andy has been a consistent friend of the site since he was just a wee little lad. He's here with more news and gaming enthusiasm than just about anybody else and is at least 787 times the contributor that almost anyone else is.

TNL's all about hope. In a vast wasteland of garbage forums, through periods of aimless posting, we come here day after day with hope and are rewarded with a quality message board. And animegirl is all about hope, too. Hope that you, too, will one day meet an outgoing, military-trained girl with a hot body who is into the types of games, books, movies, Halloween costumes, and other diversions you wish your girlfriend enjoyed.

God, even his profile colors are perfect! Bacon McShig adds quality to everything he's touched at TNL. (Some of you should get in line and let him touch you, I think.) Besides being an essential poster, he laid down the design for TNL 4.0. Whether you're talking games, movies, or design, "Bacon McShig = So awesome."
--
Now that Kano on the Phone has fallen 'neath the godless hooves of Motaro, there is one moderator left who will slap you down harsh if you cross him, and that's BonusKun. In TNL terms, he's older than God's parents, having been around since before the beginning, contributing NeoGeo reviews and lots of law and order both on the forum and in rhe Gamefan Tavern.
--
The monster known as Chux is exactly the kind of person every successful gaming forum needs. He looks out for the site on every level and is always willing to pitch in and help. He is excited about games and can be funny as hell when discussing them. He's a leader but 100% one of the guys. Chux has a lot of great qualities that he'll be happy to tell you about, even if it does sound like rampant fronting.
--
Speaking of longtime contributors and the recent relaunch, it's hard to overestimate how central Frogacuda has been to TNL reviews. Whether he's waxing nostalgic about his favorites in a forum post or writing and editing for the front page, he is a man who knows his material and can always be counted on in a pinch. He also gets in because his user name fits into the Hallelujah Chorus so well.

What's worse than having your Gears of War avatar take a chainsaw to the head? Watching the scene helplessly while K3V's booming mockery is ringing through your headset. It's like watching Barry White beat your high score at Q*bert. But when he's not spilling blood on the Gears altar, K3V is an active forum member and a dear friend of the site who's a snappy dresser to boot, no matter what Biff says.

Maruchan says just enough. He doesn't have a lot of posts compared to others on the list, but he has been around since GameGO and we just plain worry about him when he stops posting for awhile. He is best known for his atrocious spelling and grammar, his ramen-inspired avatar, and being a #tnl god.
--
MechDeus was mentioned in the first Legends induction as an example of how the order in which you're inducted means nothing. Mech is clearly one of the top posters on the board as well as being a valued contributor to the front page. He not only posts intelligently in every part of the forum, he keeps his avatars fresh and his Wiki page fairly up to date. His site, TreasureGear, seems to have been neglected a little, though.
--
Like previous inductee DacaZ, Pitch's finest moments came before the latest version of the forum, but veteran members will remember him for being one of the youngest GameGOers, someone that always worked to foster a sense of close community through both the message board and instant messaging, for his rainbow fondness, and for "lalala (:."

"America's #1 slacker" is also one of the most photographed. Luckily, he doesn't just sit there and mope, he adds a little variety to each picture. So much so that he swept through the 2008 Face-off tournament and won using a group of amazing mug shots. He also adds variety to his avatars and posts and loves to hunt down a good deal, so maybe the slacker label is misleading. What we do know is Timber's a great guy to have around.
